DAUGHTER'S DAY

Today is daughters day. a beautiful day dedicated to beautiful lives. So many people had posted selfies & Photos with their diamond ( daughters ) on social media, some have celebrated this day in some amazing different ways. because diamonds are loved by all..
In India when a couple is blessed with a daughter, people says " Laxmi aayi hai gharme" that means " The Goddess of wealth and happiness came to your home" & I think thats beautiful.. as an elder child in my family I am a daughter of my parents and mother to my siblings.. yes I said mother, the reason behind this statement is when you became an elder child you get responsibilities along with siblings...  I remember our childhood days when my brother got scolded by parents or any other person he used hugged me tightly and cry out loudly.
We were in the same school, studying in different grades... my brother was in kinder garden & I was primary school student, we used to meet every day during lunch time.. one day his teacher stopped me, I was shocked & asked her in worry "ma'am what happened? I want to meet my little brother, he must be there waiting for me.. he needs me... that time his teacher hold my hand and she said " heena,  your brother loves you soo much and you also share the feelings for him, but he has to stay strong by staying alone... I know you both spend lunch time together, and you both cut contact with you classmate and your friends, some decisions are hard but necessary...
I had no words left, as ma'am said I went back to my class. I know it is painful  for a 3-4 years old to waiting for someone he love so much. that time Kinder garden's school timing was 12 to 2:30 pm. while I had to stay in school till 6pm. as clock showed 6 of time school bell rang, we did our prayers and left the class in a hurry to go home. I  was in hurry to see my baby bro... and there.. my mom took him to school at 6pm to pick me up.. as we saw each other we ran forward to get hugged.. and I still remember he cried that day he cried by saying I was waiting for you,,, I hold him in my arms I told him I loved him so much.. then I explained my mother everything that happened in school..
This is an amazing moment of our life. I felt to share with you all because I think you all will relate it.. those who have elder sister they knows their sisters act like mom.. those who are elder sister knows that younger siblings are like our own child...  & yes Happy Daughter's Day to all..
